Analysis of health human resource allocation and service utilization in Guizhou Province

Abstract

Objective Analyze health resources allocation and service utilization so as to provide scientific decision-making basis for health administrative departments. Methods It used Excel to analyze the data,evaluated the status of health resources allocation and service utilization in cities and prefectures by correlation analysis,comparative analysis and other Methods. Results There were 1.25 practice(assistant)physicians per thousand population in Bijie city at least,Guiyang City was the highest with 3.37 practice(assistant)physicians. There were 3.90 registered nurses per thousand populations in Guiyang which was highest,the lowest was 1.82 registered nurses in Anshun City. Totality of doctors and nurses ratio was over 0.8(1∶1.25). The overall average annual growth rate of medical treatment was more than 60%. The highest utilization rate of beds in Zunyi City was 82.51%,the lowest in Bijie City was only 53.22%. The highest average length of stay in Guiyang City was 9.90 days,the lowest in Qianxinnan prefecture was 6.40 days. Conclusions The overall allocation of health resources was insufficient,the structure was unreasonable. It needs to further strengthen the construction of physician team. There was obvious gap of service efficiency in different area,it need to coordinate regional development. Strengthen two-way referral and improve medical technology level.
