Objective This paper analyzes medical service construction of traditional Chinese medicine hospitals since the new medical reform in our country so as to provide reference for the realization of the“14th Five-Year Plan”development plan of traditional Chinese medicine hospitals. Methods It selected the relevant data on medical resources allocation of TCM hospitals from 2010 to 2021,and analyzed the construction of the medical service system in TCM hospitals in China according to different types of specific indicators such as growth rates and composition ratios. Results As of 2020,the growth rate of the number of traditional Chinese medicine hospitals was 4.86%,and the number of hospitals in the eastern region had reached 1,756. The average annual growth rates of private traditional Chinese medicine hospitals,the number of health technicians and equipment above 10,000 yuan was 16.52%,7.28% and 14.60% respectively. The total revenue of TCM hospitals in 2020 was 3.91 times that of 2010,the total expenditure was 3.78 times,and the hospital's assets and liabilities had reached 51.05%. In the past 10 years,the number of visits in traditional Chinese medicine hospitals had increased by 190.776 million. Conclusions From 2010 to 2020,medical service system construction of traditional Chinese medicine has achieved good development results,which is reflected in the continuous increase in the number of traditional Chinese medicine hospitals,the further optimization of the structure,the gradual increase in the number of visits in traditional Chinese medicine hospitals,and the continuous increase in the number of medical and health personnel. However,under the new situation,there are still problems such as uneven distribution of medical resources in various regions,low utilization rate of hospital beds,and high risk of debt repayment in traditional Chinese medicine hospitals.
