Reviewing the history of more than 70 years of rural doctor education in China,it has gone through four stages of germination,exploration,deepening and innovation. There are gradual differences in the teaching subject and content. This paper analyzes the evolution principle of rural doctor education in China under the framework of “evolutionary origin - evolutionary power - evolutionary trend”. Under the pressure of real medical problems in rural areas in different historical situations,the village medical education has undergone adaptive evolution. External forces and endogenous power interleaved together to promote the village medical education from “strong wind and heavy rain” to “gentle wind and light rain”,from partial scattered to the whole integration,and from instrumentality functions to creating value.
